Foundations of Menopause-Informed Psychological Care (MIPC)
Â
A practical introduction designed to help psychologists, counsellors, psychotherapists, CBT therapists and other mental health professionals confidently recognise and respond to menopause in clinical practice.
Hi, I'm Simona Stokes.
I'm a Counselling Psychologist, founder of the Menopause CBT Clinic®, and creator of the EMBERS® Framework and Menopause-Informed Psychological Care (MIPC).
For over 20 years I've worked in mental health, and for the past seven years I've specialised in supporting women through perimenopause and menopause while training mental health professionals internationally.
Â
My mission is simple:
To help mental health professionals recognise the hidden psychological impact of menopause and adapt their existing practice so more midlife women receive the care they deserve.

I do not even think I can find the words to explain how Simona has helped me and how the tools that she taught me are still helping me now 6 months after my last meeting with her. Get help, I did, and I will never let myself try and handle things alone again.
